Dressed in a bit more special Sunday number and wearing heels for Rod's First Communion when Forest remarked, "Wow! Nanay ang ganda mo. Mukha kang MA'AM" Haha! 

She must be getting used to seeing me wear shirts and sneakers for work :P:P

Feelings!

Ongoing conversation... Forest: Ano man yan si Kuya oi, maluod man siya (over taking fish oil supplement)! Rod: Bakit bawal? Hayaan mo na, Forest. May feelings ka rin baya!

INVEST!

big words from our little boy tonight: "Nanay, nag INVEST ang isang classmate ko sa loom bracelets and earned 500 in a week!" I wonder if he fully understood what the word meant :P So, 9 year-olds these days have conversations about investments? I'm not sure if that's a good thing or not. What's almost certain is that what we usually joke about Rod's becoming a future 'Financial Analyst' could very well come true :P

Bottle Please!

Bedroom scene (Rated PG: Pinagkaisahan ang ma-Gulang): Settling in bed, having said our prayers and bedtime stories, I was about to flit off to dreamland when Forest cried out, "Gusto ko dede, Nay." (I want my bottle). Not wanting to get up anymore, I said, "Di ba tinimplahan na kita ng gatas kanina and you drank it?" (Did I not give you milk earlier?) To which she replied somewhat indignantly and with matching raised eyebrows, "Dede yung baso ko?! Dede yun?!" Rod who was half-asleep already added more to the fuel by saying, "Smart question!" Waaah!
