Bottle Please!

Bedroom scene (Rated PG: Pinagkaisahan ang ma-Gulang): Settling in bed, having said our prayers and bedtime stories, I was about to flit off to dreamland when Forest cried out, "Gusto ko dede, Nay." (I want my bottle). Not wanting to get up anymore, I said, "Di ba tinimplahan na kita ng gatas kanina and you drank it?" (Did I not give you milk earlier?) To which she replied somewhat indignantly and with matching raised eyebrows, "Dede yung baso ko?! Dede yun?!" Rod who was half-asleep already added more to the fuel by saying, "Smart question!" Waaah!
